The Dorchester Hornpipe: Thirty Four Country Dance Tunes from the Manuscript Music Books of

Under the title are three silhouettes of three Thomas Hardys (grandfather (1778-1837), father (1811-1892), and author (1840-1928) respectively). This collection of sheet music was compiled for the fiftieth anniversary of Thomas Hardy’s death. Along with the music, a list of songs mentioned in Hardy’s works, an introduction situating Hardy and music, and textual notes at the end.
