This collection contains letters to Read, as well as a souvenir booklet stamped on cover: "Presented to Mrs. Lessie Stringfellow Read as a souvenir of the meeting of Dayton women and officers of the General Federation of Women's Clubs in the NCR Schoolhouse, January 9, 1925" in Dayton, Ohio. Included are a cover photograph, ten photographs of Dayton and the officers, meeting invitation, and a program for Woman and the Nation's Money. Lessie Read was a pioneer advocate for women's suffrage and prison reform.
