Published circa 1894 by Whitman’s literary executors over objections from publisher David McKay because he could not make any money at that price. This copy was T. B. Harned’s, one of the Whitman executors. It contains Harned’s bookplate and notes on the history and development of Leaves of Grass. Very fragile. The book is quite rare and a good copy is difficult to find.
