Vincent “Vin” Prothro ( -2000), chairman and CEO of Dallas Semiconductor who presided over a capital campaign at the Dallas Museum of Art that raised money for the Hamon Building and helped solidify the DMA’s endowment, with Nancy Hamon who donated millions to the Dallas Museum of Art for exhibitions, educational programming and capital improvements, at the groundbreaking of the Dallas Museum of Art, May 23, 1991.
